Dr. Peiching Ling
Regional Director, Asia Operations

Dr. Ling is responsible for EAG’s laboratory operations throughout Asia.

Prior to joining EAG he was Chief Executive Officer and founder of Advanced Materials Engineering Research, Inc. (AMER) since inception in 1988. Under his stewardship, AMER grew to be a respected leader in Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Circuit Edit and failure analysis services with facilities in both Sunnyvale California and Shanghai China.

Dr. Ling is a successful entrepreneur having founded AIBT, Inc. in 1999 and Integrated Optic Communication Corp. in 2001 in addition to AMER. Prior to AMER, he was a Senior Physicist with Advanced Research and Applications Corporation from 1985 to 1988 and an Associate Professor in Materials Science at National Tsing Hua University, HsinChu Taiwan, R.O.C. from 1983 to 1985. Prior to this, Dr. Ling was an associate researcher in the Materials and Molecular Research Division of Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory from 1978 to 1983 involved in research on semiconductor related materials and TEM applications.

Dr. Ling received a B.S. degree in Physics from Fu-Jen Catholic University in Taipei, Taiwan, and M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in HsinChu, Taiwan and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
